For a delicious and fancy looking party food using sticky rice cakes and bacon, try 떡 베이컨 말이. Just roll and fry the rice cakes with bacon, and then serve these with tasty dipping sauces. I will share 2 different flavors of dipping sauce this time. One is a honey mustard sauce and the other is a sweet and spicy sauce. Christmas is coming; this can be a great appetizer for your Christmas party. Try it someday. 🙂

Serve the rice cakes with the dipping sauce. Depending on your tastes, you can just make one sauce if you prefer. My husband and I both liked to dip and eat the rice cakes in both sauces at the same time. They are so delicious. @.@ Enjoy!

Hi Aeri,
You are a lifesaver. I’m a Korean-American just newly married to a Korean living in Tajikistan. I never cooked Korean before but thankfully I came across your website and have used your recipes for my husband and he totally loves my cooking! Thanks to your website he’s the happiest husband in the world!
I like your new layout but it’s kind of hard looking for something specific. You used to have a picture index which was really really helpful but I can’t seem to find it on your new website. Can you please bring it back? Are Hangul dish names searchable on your site?
Anyway, thanks for posting recipes!! I sooooo appreciate it!
Blessings!
Jeanette

Hi Jeanette,
I’m very happy to hear from you. 🙂 Wow, your Korean husband loves your Korean food. That’s awesome.
Thanks for your feedback about our new blog theme. As you noticed, we just changed it to the new one and we are still working on it. The biggest reason we decided to change our theme, even if we like our old theme very much..is.. now our new blog theme can fit nice to different sizes of devices such as tablet, smart phone.. etc. We tried to move things from old theme to this new one as much as we could..but it still needs lots of work to do. I can see you are a real reader of my blog because you know exactly what are missing from old theme. hehe Yes.. we will have our picture index for this theme too.. and before in the subtitle.. we added the dish names in hangul.. so you could search with hangul.. that will come back soon too.. Please wait for us. It always takes time to adjust for changes in life right.. hehe Once, we finish working on it, we will announce about new theme to explain the changes we made and how to use our blog..etc..Thanks again.. I love to hear more good advice.. feedback.. about our blog from you in the future. Merry Christmas.

how do you cook them with plastic on the tooth pick?
Aeri Lee says
hi David Lee,
It was more for decoration for the final picture.. if that concerns you, you can just use normal tooth pick.. I made sure that the plastic part will not touch the hot pan..that’s how I cooked. 🙂 thanks
