Today, I will share a simple, delicious, and very crispy deep fried shrimp recipe. My secret tip for crispy shrimp is to use a double coating. Crispy golden brown shrimp with a delicious soy dipping sauce is a perfect party or snack food. Try it someday.

Main Ingredients
- 20 Extra Large Shrimps (⅛ tsp Salt, 2 Pinches Black Pepper)
- 3 Eggs (3 Pinches Salt)
- 1½ Cups Korean Bread Crumbs
- Cooking Oil for Deep Frying
Directions
Obtain about 20 extra large shrimps. Peel off the skin and then remove the head and intestine. Leave the tails on.
Gently cut the bottom and top of the shrimp. This helps to prevent it from bending.
If you want, you can use small shrimp or other kinds of seafood for this recipe.
Season the shrimp with about ⅛ tsp of salt and 2 pinches of black pepper.
Break 3 eggs and whisk them gently with 3 pinches of salt. I used 3 small eggs for this recipe, but you can use 2 large eggs instead.
Dip the seasoned shrimp into the egg mixture to cover the shrimp evenly.
Obtain about 1½ cups of Korean bread crumbs. Coat the egg covered shrimp with the bread crumbs.
To make extra crispy shrimp, I coat it twice. Dip the shrimp in the egg mixture again. This time, you need to dip it quickly so that you will not get to thick of a bread crumb coating.
Dip it in the bread crumbs again. Gently cover it with bread crumbs. Do the same for the rest of the shrimps.
When the preparation is almost done, preheat some cooking oil.
Fry the shrimp in the preheated cooking oil for about 3 minutes or until it becomes golden brown. The temperature will be 370 F.
When the shrimp is done frying, take it out from the oil and put it on a paper towel to soak up some of the grease before serving.
Serve it with a soy sauce based dipping sauce. You can mix 2 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp water, and 1 tsp vinegar. You can also use Sempio’s vinegar soy sauce, Jang with Vinegar. Garnish it with some fresh parsley and slice of lemons. Enjoy.
