What kind of dishes do you cook when there are leftover vegetables and other ingredients in the refrigerator? Today, I will introduce a delicious toast that Koreans enjoy using common ingredients at home. The taste may be unfamiliar to you, but in Korea, a combination of ketchup, mayonnaise, pizza cheese, vegetables, and lunch meat is popular. I hope you all enjoy this too. Now let’s make a delicious pizza toast that is so pretty in color and shape.

Today, I will share a fun way to enjoy potatoes by making a Korean pancake, called Jeon, with it. Though it is unique since you can grate, julienne, or slice potatoes to make the Jeon, today’s recipe is even more unique in the shape and texture of the jeon. The crunchy potato dipped in a special dipping sauce is mouth-watering. As usual, you will love to see how simple this tasty recipe is.

How was your week? Can you feel that fall is coming? The leaves in our backyard are changing colors and my small vegetable garden is sharing its last foods for the season. The weather is beautiful and I want to go on a picnic with you. However, instead, today I will share a delicious recipe for a Korean-style potato salad sandwich that you can make for a picnic, lunch box, snack, or potluck party. Since it is a very popular item in Korean bakeries and is also one of my favorite breads, I’m happy to share this recipe with you.

This dish is a crispy, slightly hot, extremely delicious meal that can be amazingly well served at parties or family gatherings. Normally, people would use chicken with this sauce, called dakgangjang, (a.k.a 닭강정, is a very popular dish in South Korea) but for vegetarians and vegans, tofu is a very good replacement. I highly recommend tofu and chicken because (for vegans and others) tofu is a great, nutritious replacement that can’t really be beaten by other meats. As for the chicken, it’s up to you, but many people enjoy it with chicken. So, try out this recipe, and I hope you like it. See you in the video!

Today I will share a simple and delicious way to use up ingredients in your refrigerator. We will make egg dumplings called “DalGyal ManDu” (달걀 만두) in Korean. These egg dumplings have a soft, chewy, and crunch texture with a good combination of flavors from various ingredients. They are fun to make and look appetizing. Do you have left over veggies to use up, or do you want to try something new and delicious? Then, this is a great recipe for you. 🙂

Today, I will share a really simple dumpling recipe with you. This particular dumpling is called NapJak ManDu (납작만두) in Korean which means flat dumplings. It is a very popular street food in DaeGu, South Korea. As the name says, this dumpling is flat with a very small amount of filling inside compared to normal dumplings. Without any meat – just garlic chives and cellophane noodles – this dumpling itself can be a little boring. However, the special sauce is what makes this unique, and in some point, even better than normal dumplings. 🙂 I hope I made you excited to try my recipe. Hehe

A delicious regional food from the Gyeongnam province in Korea is made with Napa cabbage. It is called “baechujeon” in Korean. Battered Napa cabbage is fried and eaten with a tasty dipping sauce. It is surprisingly delicious considering how easy it is to make. My husband was happy to find a new favorite food when I made it the other day.Try it someday.

Today, I’m going to make a Korean vegetable steamed bun that I enjoyed during cold weather in Korea since I was a child. It is called YaChae HoPpang (야채 호빵) in Korean. Although its name is vegetable hobbang, it has seasoned meat inside in addition to a variety of vegetables. I’m going to include a homemade bread recipe in addition to a easy method using premade biscuit bread from the supermarket. This food is great as a snack or as a meal, especially for kids.
