One of my husband’s favorite cookies are peanut butter cookies. These cookies are a little chewy. If you don’t like chewy cookies, you can try baking them a little longer. Just be careful that you don’t burn them.
Yield: 4 Dozen Cookies
Short Korean Lesson
- Seon (선) = Line

Main Ingredients
- 1 Cup Butter, Softened
- 1¼ Cup Peanut Butter
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2½ Cups Flour
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Baking Soda
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
Directions
Blend together 1 cup butter and 1¼ cups peanut butter.
Add 1 cup of packed brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar. Beat well.
Beat in 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla.
Stir into the peanut butter mixture 2½ cup flour, ¼ tsp salt, ½ tsp baking soda, and ½ tsp baking powder.
Mix well.
Form the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet. Dip a fork into some flour (to keep the dough from sticking to the fork) and then flatten the dough ball.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 9 minutes. Put the cookies on a rack to cool.
Enjoy!

Oh how nice to see you again Diane 🙂 but do you have any idea why my cookies always turned out TOOOO hard after they cooled? 😥
Rosa K. says
To everyone where their cookies turned out hard:
Try cooling the batter (at least 2 hours) before you bake them.
Makes all the difference 😉
In addition, Thank you Diane for this wonderful recipe 😀
