Hi Everyone! Are you having a great year so far? Did you make any New Year resolutions? hehe … I hope everybody is doing well. Today, I want to share great news from Aeri’s Kitchen; we just published my e-cookbook on Amazon. Yay! I’m very excited now. The numbers of e-book readers are dramatically increasing, and it is convenient to use Kindles, iPods, iPads, or other readers for cooking, because you can easily take your e-book(s) wherever you cook.
The book has over 130 delicious Korean recipes from Aeri’s Kitchen since April 2008 to December 2010; almost all of the Korean recipes from my blog are in this e-book. Maybe we will have another e-book next year. π The book includes pictures of all of the recipes and a table of contents with pictures for ease in finding recipes, but we were unable to include the step-by-step pictures. The price will be 2.99 USD, which is the lowest price we could sell it at.
My new eBook is available in the following forms:
- Kindle: Amazon’s Store
I would also greatly appreciate it if you leave a review about my e-book; I wonder what you think of my e-book. hehe… π
I know there are people who are waiting for my cookbook to be published, and they might want a real book, not an e-book: don’t worry. We are still working on my “real” cookbook, and hopefully we can publish it sometime this year. π Among my goals for 2010, one of the ones that I couldn’t finish was publishing it.
Thank you for reading. I hope my e-cookbook is helpful for your Korean cooking. I will be back with more delicious recipe soon.
Congratulations!

-Pahoua<3
hi Pahoua,
The instructions are different depending on what type of computer you have. There are some instructions on how to sync a book using Windows in the link below. Basically, you need to add the book to iTunes, and the sync it. Let me know if these instructions work for you:

Hi Aeri π i like ur recipe, but i hope u can continue ur korean lesson.I was waiting that class actually π
hi Ema,
haha.. thanks Ema. I will try to do that soon again. I wish I had more time to do things. π
Do you know a good site to learn Korean language…”talktomeinkorean” ??? you can find them on youtube too.. You can learn from them also. thanks π
Hi Aeri, I just purchased your book from Lulu.com. I suppose that the Table of Contents lists each category of recipes (eg Appetizers and Snacks). However, some of listings are individual recipes (eg Garlic Chive ManDu)or parts of recipes (eg Main Ingredients, Directions). Best regards.
Hello. What are you using to read the ebook? The table of contents lists the categories. After clicking on a category, it should show a list of the recipes along with a small image of the food. Clicking on one of those should show the complete recipe. Do you mind if we contact you by email?
hi Jason,
Thanks for your kind answer, honey.. π hehe
Hi Aeri! I love your recipes and I’m so thrilled to hear that they will be published!! Unfortunately I do not own an e-book reader, so I will have to wait until your cook book becomes published. I am definitely looking forward to it!!

Nice to meet you. Wow you like to cook too? then.. please try Korean food someday too. I hope you like it. thanks..
How can I buy the e-book in PDF file for 2.99? I don’t have a Kindle or any other e-book reading device. Is it possible to pay for the PDF format? If so, where can I do this please? Thank you – Janho
It isn’t for sale in PDF format…
But guess you can always convert it, since it’s your file. π
Hi! Sorry, but at this time, the Kindle store is the only method of obtaining this book. We are trying to get a paperback published, but it is a very time consuming process.
P.S.
You can download a free kindle reader for your computer (you don’t need to buy a Kindle), although I do like the PDF format myself.

Hi! Sorry, but at this time, the Kindle store is the only method of obtaining this book. We are trying to get a paperback published, but it is a very time consuming process.

Hi Aeri,
I’ve tried a couple of your recipes so far, and they were great! i made my son miyuk soup for his 3rd b-day following your recipe and it’s pretty good. Thank you for all the great recipes and I can’t wait for your cook book to get published… i will definitely get one!
Thank you sister, for sharing Korean recipes with us. I made cool winter kimchi a couple weeks ago, and it has been hard to wait the required number of days for it to ferment. I want to eat it now! But I will wait. I did a half recipe, and maybe it was a mistake to cut the sugar in the liquid by half. What do you think? I also made some substitutions, since I am in a tropical area in S. America where Asian pears are not available. I used a certain apple that tastes a little like pear. I also used a rocoto pepper instead of the red and green ones you use, and cut it up, instead of leaving it whole. I will let you know how it turns out.
hi Mary Ann Lord,
sister.. sorry for late reply. I wonder how your kimchi turned out. Hope it was good.
Hi Aeri,
I am obsessed with korean drama, thus I start to learn about korean food, and maybe someday, the language.
I love your videos on youtube. Thank you so much for sharing korean recipes. I would love to buy your e-cookbook from amazon. Unfortunately I don’t have kindle. I am not sure how it works with amazon, but I wonder if you can also sell it in PDF format?
thanks a bunch .. and please do post more videos π
Hi! Thanks for your interest in the eBook. At this time, it is only available for the Kindle. However, Amazon produces free programs for your computer/laptop that will show Kindle books. This is one of the biggest advantages for the Kindle format – it can be read on many different computers/devices.
Also, we are nearing completion of a print book which will hopefully also be sold in digital form for the iPad.
Hi Aeri!
I’ve been watching your videos since 2010. I am not really into cooking but when I watched you cook, I was encouraged to cook. I never tried some of your recipes though but now that you have publish your own book, maybe I can try one as soon as I got a copy of it. I love how you cook, simple but satisfying, and I love the way you incorporate God’s Word to your cooking which I think is what makes it more MaSitEo! Keep up the good work Aeri! God bless you and your family more and always!
Just bought the Kindle version for my phone! I have not been able to really cook or bake due to a broken foot and ankle injury since August, but I am back in my own home now and can’t wait to do some real cooking! Your website and recipes are inspiring and I’m so glad I was able to get your cookbook electronically! It will help with shopping and to have the recipes in small form right by my side. I may have to do a post on my own blog once I really get into things! Thanks so much!
hi April D.,
Thanks for purchasing my cookbook. Hope that it is useful for your Korean cooking. ^^ So your ankle is okay now ?? Please feel normal soon. Thanks
Hi there! My family and I live in Niger, Africa and I just discovered your website when I was looking up how to make red bean buns for Chinese New Year today! I was born in Canada but my parents are Korean and I have always had a hard time finding Korean recipes online because the good ones are usually in Korean and it takes me forever to read through them. Thank you so much for your recipes and for sharing them! I am so excited to try the spicy chicken tweegim and dduk galbee!! Most of your ingredients are simple enough (I brought over red pepper paste and powder from Canada and we can buy most of the other recipes) and your instructions are so comprehensive. I also love dduk and cannot wait to try your recipe to make my own! THANK YOU! God bless you and your family.
I was looking for Korean Baked goods. More so subsitutes for flour, low carbs, softness, light tastes and found this site. E reader is great but I enjoy coming to this site. Looking for updates also. Thanks π
Dear Aeri,
I am a fan of Korean cuisine especially Kimchee.I wonder the chilli flakes or powder would affect the taste as i am staying in Malaysia and i can only get the ordinary dried chillies and blend them.Just curious. Thanks
It is hard to tell since I don’t know exactly what kind of dried chillies you have..but I want to say..give it a try and see.. π thanks
What a great website. I stumbled upon it looking for info on Jeon made with Crown Daisy (ssukgat) and ended up spending almost an hour looking at recipes. Great job. I am interested in learning more about cooking Korean food, especially the more unusual and authentic dishes, and you have given me a great place to start. Thank You.
Aeri love your site from the language to cooking lessons. I am an adopted Korean American with very little knowledge of Korean culture until I moved to Nyc for my job. Your site has helped me start to learn the language something I’ve always wanted to learn As well as make delicious foods easy step by by with video instruction makes it easy for anyone to follow.
hi Randall,
I’m very glad to meet you. That is wonderful that you try to learn about your root. Thank you very much. Please keep touch with me. ^^
