Hi Aeri’s Kitchen friends. Did you enjoy the beautiful fall leaves? The colorful leaves are falling down and nature seems to be preparing for the winter. Around this time of year, what do you think of the most? What are you craving? The answer from my husband was his grandmother’s pumpkin bread. It is so simple to bake, yet it is amazingly delicious. We all love it so much. I thought of you, my precious Aeri’s Kitchen friends, and I decided to share this family recipe with you. Thanksgiving is coming, although it might not be a typical year for all of us due to the pandemic. I hope you can bake this delicious pumpkin bread at home and enjoy it with your own family this Thanksgiving holiday.

Main Ingredients:
- 1 Can Pumpkin (15 oz)
- 3 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1½ Cups Cooking Oil
- ¾ Cup Chopped Pecans
- 4 Eggs
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
Directions
First, preheat your oven to 350 F. Then, combine all the dry ingredients: 3 cups all purpose flour, 2 cups sugar, 2 tsp baking powder, 2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, and 2 tsp cinnamon powder.
Mix it all together.
Break 4 eggs and whisk them gently.
We need 1 can (15 oz) of pumpkin, or about 1½ generous cups.
Add 1½ cups of cooking oil to the flour and then add the
While beating, slowly add the eggs.
Mix everything and make sure that all the flour on the bottom of the mixing bowl gets blended in. A spatula work greats for this.
Finally add ¾ cup of chopped pecans,
and mix it one last time.
Prepare 2 nonstick baking loaf pans. You do not need to grease or flour the pans for this recipe.
Pour half of the batter into each pan. Flatten out the batter on the top.
Bake the bread for about 50 to 55 minutes.
When you poke the center of the bread with a toothpick, and if it comes out clean like this, it means that the bread has been baked perfectly.
Transfer the bread to the baking rack to cool it down.
Once the bread has completely cooled down, you have to wrap the bread tightly with plastic wrap to keep it soft and moist. This bread can dry out easily. You can also freeze the bread.

베이킹소다를 보면 (그릇 ,세탁기)와 쿠키그림이 같이 있던데 이걸 써도 되나요? * 그릇도 닦고 청소도 하고 쿠키도 만들수 있는지요? *

일반 요리용 베이킹 소다..그리고 양희님이 말씀하신 그릇 세탁기 그림있는 베이킹 소다.. 모두다 중탄산 나트륨이지만 요리에 사용되는 제품은 식품 등급이지만 청소에 사용되는 제품은 그렇지 않을 수 있어요. 즉, 조리 제품을 사용하여 청소할 수 있지만 청소 제품을 사용하여 요리하는 것은 아닌것 같아요. 말씀하신 제품에 쿠키 그림도 같이 그려져 있다고 하시니.. 그건 요리도 가능하게 만든 제품인것 같긴 하네요.. 다만 그래도 좀 걸리면… 요리용으로 만들어진 베이킹 소다와.. 청소용 베이킹 소다를 따로 구매해서 사용하는게 제일 좋을것 같다는 개인적인 생각입니다. ^^

How long will this be okay to eat before it goes bad?

This bread can be stale quickly..and it tastes best when it’s moist.. so If you are not going to eat soon, I recommend you to slice it and individually wrap each pieces and keep them in the freezer.. then you can eat it fresh for a several weeks…
