Hi Everyone! Today, I have very exciting news to share with you. π If you are a long time follower, you might know that I’ve wanted to publish my own cookbook for a long time. We posted a Kindle e-book last year, which many people liked, but there are many people that want a traditionally printed cookbook. Finally, we have published our first printed cookbook, “Aeri’s Korean Cookbook 1.” If you are one of the people who were waiting for it, this post is especially for you. The printed version of the book is also available for the iPad.
Video Instructions
We picked 100 delicious recipes from my blog, aeriskitchen.com, for this book. The book includes over 600 hundred colorful step-by-step pictures along with the final pictures. There is one recipe per page, so there are slightly more than 100 pages in the book. The book was designed, created, and self-published by my talented husband. He did a great job, especially since he never published a book before. It is our plan that this is the first book in a series, but it takes a long time to create one book. Ideally, people will be able to easily use any of my recipes in their kitchen whenever they want to cook Korean food.
To begin with though, we are very happy about our first printed cookbook. The suggested retail price $25. Amazon offers free shipping for orders of $25 or more. The iPad version is available in 32 countries and lists for $4.99 USD or equivalent. It is basically the same as the print version; it contains all of the pictures. Here is how you can order it:
- Amazon.com
- Amazon Canada
- Amazon Deutschland
- Amazon EspaΓ±a
- Amazon France

Aeri,
Congratulations on your new cookbook. I have done several of your recipes from online and continue to enjoy each one. Keep them coming, especially for vegetarians. I usually substitute the meat with tofu when applicable and each dish is still yummy. Continued success to you and your family,
xoxo
Kathy
Hooray! Congratulations! I have enjoyed the recipes from your website for years. I can’t wait to get your book! It’ll sure help out for when my internet breaks or when I don’t have a recipe card on hand. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful recipes. π
I am so glad your website is still going! I found it while trying to find a good recipe for danpatbbang (?) and was afraid this was a dead website! I’m going to save up for your cookbooks; I’m learning to speak Korean and the food fascinates me too. I can’t wait for more hangul lessons and to see what other recipes you’re going to put up!

How can I buy your cook book in Canada ? Can I find your book in every book store?
Hi! I’m not familiar with the bookstore chains that operate in Canada. You should be able to take the ISBN number to your local bookstore so that they can order it. The ISBN is: 9781475290615. Amazon Canada sells the book online, as well as McNally Robinson. I think Barnes & Noble will ship to Canada as well. Thanks for your interest.
Hope it will eventually come out on KoboStore or in Epub format so I can buy it on my Kobo ereader π π

you can also be an affliate for amazon and get paid a percentage on all orders customers purchase. $$$.
hi aeri! Is it possible for me to easily buy a copy of your printed recipe book from any Bookstores in South Korea? I love your recipes! π
Thanks.. amazon deliver things to Korea too. so please check it out. ^^
Hi Aeri. I bought your cookbook and it arrived today. The recipes all look so good. I will try to make them all. Can you recommend me dishes inside the book that would be healthy to cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner on a daily basis. Let me know. Thank you.
Thanks for your purchase of my cookbook. Korean meal doesn’t have specific separation from breakfast..lunch and dinner.. like some western meal culture.. for 3 meals of day.. you can eat the same kind of the food.. ^^;; but I can say.. we eat.. rice .. main dish and several side-dishes for a meal.. so please check those catagory in my food index… and see what you will like to pick for your meal… thanks ^^
Hi Aeri,
Have you thought of publishing cookbooks with DVD? I really like watching your videos on your site. I think they ‘re very helpful.
That is a great idea.. thanks ^^
I luv u!
I love your good cooking!

Hi Aeri,
My name is Lynn. I’ve been living in the state almost 20 years and recently(last 5 years) got interested in cooking Korean food. I find your blog quite helpful since measuring unit is not in metric system. I’m planning to order your book and look forward new posts from you.
Keep up the good work and God Bless!
hi Lynn,
It is very happy to hear that somebody is interested in trying Korean food. Thank you very much. π Oh.. if you buy our cookbook..hope you like it and it is helpful for your Korean cooking. God bless you too. π
Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I found you on YouTube yesterday and first started making your red bean paste and breads. My family LOVE it so much, they ate them all, so I had to make more today! Today I’m gonna try to make the Korean beef recipe. I think I will buy your book too. Thank you so much, you have blessed me and my family. Oh and your little boy is so adorable!
God bless you!
Rosemarie
hi Rosemarie,
Nice to meet you. I’m so glad to hear that you tried my recipes and liked them. π Hope my cookbook is helpful for your Korean cooking. Thanks for your comment.
Hi Aeri,
I have been followed your website and enjoyed it so much. Your recipe is easy to follow and it turned out good. In my personal opinion I think it is not like other cookbook which has fake, untrue and hiding the secret.
A while back I have bought your kindle cookbook so I just wonder is this Cookbook 1 is the same or different?
Thank you for sharing your truful recipes.
Kim
hi Kim Luong,
There are some duplications..but not much.. because cookbook 1 has a lot more recipes than the ebook one. Thanks ^^
Hi Aeri, I love your website. Your recipes are so easy to follow and the results are fabulous. I purchased your cookbook hoping for more of the same but it left much to be desired. I really want to support you because I love your website so much — I would be willing to pay much more for a cookbook that has all of the photos your website as well as an alphabetized search index and all of the great info you have about Korean culture and ingredients. Plus many of the recipes on the website were not in the book which was also disappointing. I hope this feedback was helpful and I look forward to future editions!
Btw, you do not have to post the last comment. It was more for your eyes.
hi Theresa,
Thank you very much for your supportive comment and feedback about my cookbook. Yes, I’d love to have another cookbook to be published..but as it was for the first one.. making a cookbook ask for lo~~~ts of work and time… but I want it … so my husband and I can try it someday again. Before that.. I will try my best to make many delicious recipes as much as I can. π Thanks again.
