Pumpkin season has arrived! This pumpkin pie recipe is one of my husband’s favorites. It has a great spice flavor. My son and I are good, I just feel tired more easily and have to go to the bathroom often. He plays a lot everyday. Please keep us in your prayers. Wow, the weather is getting cooler, and it was a little chilly today. Maybe the Summer is gone already. I hope that everyone stays healthy and happy. Anyway, a hobby I started after marriage is collecting cookbooks. It is always great to get a good cookbook with delicious recipes and beautiful pictures. How many times, do I actually use those cookbooks? oops… I was too busy cooking Korean food for my videos and blog. hehe (my excuse) My husband and I look through a new cookbook together, and we mark recipes that we want to try later. Since it has been a while since I made dessert for my husband, I picked a recipe that uses fresh peaches that I got from the farmers’ market. This peach and blueberry pie was a big success. We both agreed it is a good pie recipe to share with people who visit my blog, even though it is not Korean food. Try this pie someday, and make your lover happy as I did.

Taco salad is a favorite food of mine that I learned to make from my mother in law. Homemade tortillas, taco seasoned beef, beans, lettuce, onions, cheese, and the french salad dressing. Oh, the combination of those flavors is awesome. @.@ Yesterday, we ate this for supper, and it was very delicious, as always. I guessed somebody might want the recipe for this food, so I post pictures with recipe. Enjoy!

With the leftover chicken from DakJuk, we made chicken salad. I’m still learning how to make American food, so this time, I prepared everything and my husband made it. Now, I can remember the right taste, and maybe I can make it by myself next time. It was very delicious. Thank you, honey~~~ If you have left over chicken like me, why don’t you try to make chicken salad?
Nowadays, I’m learning how to make American food and desserts. It’s fun to bake. Unfortunately, one weird thing about me is that I don’t like sweet things: ice-cream, candy, cake, pie, or cookies except fruit flavor candy. But I love cooking, baking, and eating. Good grief, if I liked to eat desserts, my belly will be 10 times bigger than now. hehe … Plus, my honey loves desserts, so I can enjoy baking desserts and he can enjoy eating them. 😀 Anyway, I tried a cookie recipe from a baking book that I got recently. It is a 500+ page heavy duty book that got on sale for only 5 dollars. ASSA!!! 😀 The recipe was called “Raspberry Sandwich Cookies.” Since I didn’t have any raspberry jam, I used homemade strawberry jam that my sister-in-law made instead. It worked pretty good. Maybe it was because of her yummy strawberry jam? hehe 😉 My husband gave 4 stars out of 5 for this recipe. Here is the recipe for you, if you want…hehe
