Today, I will introduce another very popular regional food from Busan, Korea. It is called, “Busan BiBim DangMyeon.” You need to try it if you visit Busan someday. The cold chewy noodles, along with various flavors from toppings and the spicy sauce, make for a great noodle dish. This can be a simple lunch or a snack. Try it someday.

If you follow me Instagram, you would know by now that I love kimbap and I have to eat it on a regular basis. I do not think that I was this crazy about Kimbap when I lived in Korea, but I do feel cravings for it in America. Maybe, it’s because that kimbap is a comfort food for me whenever I miss Korea. Anyway, since I shared a basic Kimbap recipe previously, today I want to teach you an upgraded version of Kimbap with more ingredients in it. Since it is bigger than normal kimbap, I will call it king kimbap, which is (Wang GImBap) in Korean. It looks fancy and it tastes amazing. Of course, I will make it easy for you to try.

When I eat Korean instant noodles called RaMyeon, I like to mix rice into the leftover broth and eat it after I finish eating all the noodles. The ramyeon broth goes well with rice. So, what if we cook rice with the noodles from the beginning? To make it healthier and tastier, what if we add some veggies such as soybean sprouts and kimchi? So, here we are. Today, I will share a delicious Korean instant noodle rice you can make in 30 minutes. It has a soft and chewy texture along with spicy and savory flavors. You will instantly fall in love with this dish. Try it someday.

Every now and then, I start to feel that the weather is getting warmer and warmer. Before too long, we will be in summer without enjoying the spring enough. We Koreans love to eat cold noodles in the summer. I’m ready for something cold and tasty too. So, today, I will share a variation of the Korean cold chewy noodle dish, JjolMyeon using soybean sprouts. It is called KongNaMul JjolMyeon. The chewy texture from the noodles goes very well with the crunchy texture of the soybean sprouts, and the spicy, sweet and sour sauce makes this dish even more special. It’s April, but it is still chilly here when the wind blows. I will go on a picnic with this kimbap with my family when the weather gets nicer. I hope everybody is doing great. I’m excited to share this noodles recipe with you today. I got inspiration for it from a video by the Korean grandma Youtube channel. She introduced this tasty noodle dish to her fans (I’m one of them. lol), and it looked very good. I wanted to share it with my fans too. haha I didn’t follow the exact same recipe she shared, but my recipe is pretty good too. It is a common simple noodle dish Koreans enjoy daily, but Korean grandma revealed her secret ingredient to enhance the flavor of this dish: vinegar. Interestingly, I usually add a little bit of vinegar to my sauces too. I bet you will love it because I got big thumbs up from my 3 boys and myself.

Most Koreans love kimbap. We usually bring kimbap along on picnics. There are many kinds of kimbap in Korea: kimchi kimbap, cheese kimbap, tuna kimbap, beef kimbap, nude kimbap, sesame leaves kimbap, etc. Today I will make the most common kimbap. It will have 5 things in it: cucumbers, pickled radishes, ham, crabsticks, and eggs. A secret for making kimbap is that all of the ingredients need to have same size. That will help make the kimbap look more delicious and taste better.
