Fried fish cake and egg guk is a simple and delicious daily soup. Previously, I posted the street vender version of this (Fish Cake Guk) a few years ago. This is another way to make delicious soup with fish cakes at home. Soft fish cakes and egg, along with a savory broth, tastes great.
Yield: 2-3 Servings
One of my husband’s favorite cookies are peanut butter cookies. These cookies are a little chewy. If you don’t like chewy cookies, you can try baking them a little longer. Just be careful that you don’t burn them.

Egg bread, or egg muffins, is old-fashioned street food in Korea. It is especially popular in the cold winter. Freshly baked steaming egg muffins will melt your heart. They are sweet with a slightly salty whole egg inside. They taste very delicious. They are a little unique and fun to make. Of course, they are very easy to make too.

Deep fried laver roll with cellophane noodles called GimMalI TwiGim (김말이 튀김) in Korean. It is a popular street food. The recipe I am going to share with you today is a Sempio version of it. This has extra ingredients such as sweet peppers and fried fish cakes for color and taste. It is delicious and fun to make. This recipe is courtesy of Sempio. California rolls are a type of Japanese sushi that has rice on the outside. They contain cucumber, crab (or imitation crab), avocado, and rice with vinegar. Sushi is a well known Japanese food in Korea and many Koreans like sushi, including me.

Have a quick and delicious meal with this pre-made Sempio dakgalbi sauce. I posted homemade dakgalbi before; this Sempio sauce tastes as good as my dakgalbi. The spicy and slightly sweet chicken, vegetables, and rice cakes taste very good. Amazon sells this sauce along with other pre-made Sempio sauce, so you can try them someday. 🙂 Of course, you can try my homemade dakgalbi recipe too.

Seafood and green onion pancakes are perfect for seafood lovers like myself. This is one of the most popular foods for festivals in Korea. The awesome taste comes from the different kinds of seafood and green onions, which are fried into a nicely golden-brown crispy pancake. Some people pour the egg on top of the pancake before frying it, but I prefer my egg in the batter. If you increase the salt a little more, you might not need dipping sauce. However, we usually use soy dipping sauce. Try this delicious food someday. 🙂

Today, I will show you how to wrap Korean BBQ. One of the uniquenesses of Korean cuisine is wrapping BBQ with a variety of leafy greens, other vegetables, and a wrapping sauce called “ssamjang.” How man times have we eaten a main dish and not got enough vegetables in our diet? I know I have done it more times that I would like to admit. In that point, this is a healthy way to enjoy eating meat. You can use this method of eating with many other kinds of Korean BBQ and meat. However, in this post, I will use the Sempio bulgogi recipe that I just posted. I also posted a homemade bulgogi recipe in the past, so you can check it out too. If you are a vegetarian, you can fry some tofu, eggs, or mushrooms and wrap those instead of the meat. That will be delicious too. 🙂
